1/ A house under surveillance
This magnificent house located in New Jersey was sold in 2014 for the modest sum of 1.4 million dollars. Tough luck as the now not so happy owners have been receiving worrying letters which highlight that the house is being closely watched and apparently this “work” has been past down from father to son since the 1920s. The previous owner claimed that it was a hoax but they didn’t stay long in the house… These crazy letters are like something out of a horror film. An extract of one asks, “Do you need the house filled with young blood?” The new owners haven’t hung around long and are not coming back. You might be interested to know that the house is now on the market again.
2/ A doll mansion
This is a magnificent mansion for someone with a big budget (1.275 million dollars) however it can’t seem to find any takers. Why is this the case? Well the decor makes you want to get out quick without waiting to visit the rest! Life sized mannequins fill all the rooms, some with their heads cut off and some dressed strangely. Potential buyers might not manage to get these dolls out of their head….a little renovating might do the trick.
3/ Scarily decorated house
There is no scary history for this house. No murders that send shivers down the spine. However this house does have some terrifying decorations. The walls seem to have been painted with blood and copper is the dominating colour in every room. The owners seem to struggle to get people interested in the house and thanks to the usual decorations nobody wants it even for less than $300.
4/ Enormous L.A mansion
This beautiful Spanish style mansion was the site of a suicide-crime in 1969. The problem is everything was left in exactly the same place as requested for the police investigation. It is not surprising that nobody is interested in the property.
5/ A bloody house
You might think that this Victorian style mansion would have been quickly swept up once it was put on the market. With no less that 5 bedrooms, a garden with 2 acres and a boasting beautiful architecture, there is not much to complain about. However once you know what has happened here you are less attracted. This mansion was the site of a terrible crime in which the owner’s wife died, who was a lawyer. The owner had to plead his cause alone in prison.
