When car accidents are not serious and as long as no one is harmed, they can in fact be amusing to the point of laughing out loud: a car that takes itself for an underground train, a driver too busy ogling a pretty girl to pay attention, or even driving right into the middle of a restaurant -these accidents, or “incidents”, rather, are bound to give you a giggle! Here are a few of our favourites (of course, none of them were serious accidents).
1/ Right down the steps of the metro in Paris!
This driver -clearly not a local -headed straight down the steps of a metro station in Paris in April 2012. Did the driver think it was underground parking?
2/ Going for a quick dip
This Swedish car took the plunge when its driver started feeling unwell. A nice surprise for the owner!
3/ Landing in a dump skip
One false move, and boom! The driver found himself stuck in a skip in the dump! What’s more, it was a recycling bin…
4/ Nestled in the ruins
A drunk driver ended up in the middle of Aztec ruins in Mexico. A photo that will go down in history.
5/ A midnight swim
Another classic in terms of common car accidents: the nose dive! This time, it was a Spanish driver from Alicante making a splash.
6/ Bursting into a restaurant
Was the driver trying to recreate a scene from the film Taxi? Apparently not, the Swiss car just wanted to overtake a truck. Unfortunately, it hit another vehicle, sending it right into the middle of this restaurant. Fortunately, no one was injured.
