11 things that children can do but adults unfortunately can’t

Children don’t have a filter. They say what comes into their head without thinking: both the good and the bad.  However children can set very good examples, unlike some adults… Maybe we should welcome a return to childhood?

There are things that we loved to do when we were children that we can no longer do today: ask to be carried when we are tired, throw a tantrum in public, cry for no reason…  Although these moods still crop up in adulthood,  society tells us we can’t react in the same way.  But maybe it would be good for moral if we could let go a bit and return to our childhood!

1/ Ask to be carried when you are tired

Remember the pram, the arms of mum and dad or another charitable soul who would pick you up until you had the courage to go it alone… We’d love someone to help us out on a busy Monday morning when we struggle to extract ourselves from bed!

2/ Receive table service like a distinguished guest

or like someone at a restaurant. However when you are a child this type of service is free everyday!

3/ Split out food we don’t like

Children tell it as it is, either they like it or they don’t!

4/ Live like a king

Or like a hotel guest. Children get their bed changed, room tidied, food provided…. but for free! What more could you ask for?  If only it could last!

5/ Crying for no good reason

At least it does you some good.  Letting out your emotions is always helpful to clear your mind.
