Holidays are not always all rest and recovery, even if that is what they are often associated with. Between hiking trips, kayaking holidays, busy city breaks or athletic swims, some people like more active vacations. And it’s no worse than lounging around on deck chairs, which also has its merits!

2/ Campsites VS wild camping

Going on camping holidays has become quite the badge of honour, with even more brownie points going for wild camping, as opposed to in a posh campsite. Whatever the case, the night is the same, with only a thin canvas between you and the starry sky…

3/ Car VS train

While some people prefer public transport, others couldn’t imagine travelling without a car. However, with the boot full to bursting point, crowded motorway stops and monotonous landscapes, many people wouldn’t swap their relaxed window seat for the world.
