Math teachers in the past would scrawl notes on the black board in lightning speed and then scrub it all off quickly to your great despair. Now students are delighted that they can whip out their smartphones so they don’t have to write down all the notes!
8/ Setting an alarm clock
Your good old alarm clock in the end wasn’t able to reprogram itself like your smartphone does!
9/ Going out for a dinner date
It would be nice if your paid attention to what I said and not what is happening on your WhatsApp chat!
10/ Updating your Facebook status!
Perhaps a bit extreme, but many people do update the world of facebook with the news of their new arrival within a matter of hours of giving birth. Before smartphone technology you’d take time to appreciate the moment with your close family and friends….
11/ No spacial awareness!
In today’s society no one seems to look where they are going or aware of the environment around them. We would be oblivious if something out of the ordinary took place as we’re so engrossed in our flat screen!
12/ Shopping in the 21st century!
In the “past” (as in, perhaps 10 years ago) we would need to go into town to buy our clothes or any other normal purchase! These days everything can be done online so that we don’t have to move an inch from the comfort of our sofa.
13/ Reading addicts!
In stead of having a page turner of a book is the new vocabulary a “real scroller”? .
14/ Conveying emotions!
These days we need to search for the best emoji or GIF to convey what we are feeling when we communicate by social media. Can’t we just use our own face?
