2/ The flight diet

Being a pilot, gives you access to the first class menus! Both pilots aren’t allowed to eat the same thing off the menu in case they both got poisoned mid flight.

3/ Overbooking, except for the Japanese

All airline companies use the overbooking technique except for the Japanese. This system consists of selling more tickets than there are available on the flight, to make sure that the planes are full, due to cancellations last minute (estimation of 2% each flight). Japanese airlines, refuse to practice this as they consider that the Japanese would never cancel last minute.

4/ Changing ticket prices

We aren’t informing you on anything new that flight prices change day to day, sometimes hourly and by the minute. This is due to the computer systems calculating how many seats are left and the profitability they will make from the flight.
