With neither excuse nor apology, the VCR had the talent of reducing your favourite films to ribbons. You then had to be extra crafty to know how to remove the whole lot from the VCR, without further damaging the machine.

8) When your bag of marbles burst
Technology left a lot to be desired in the 90s. We had no option but to fall back on traditional games like marbles. Unfortunately, they also had their ‘bugs’, when the bag burst and the marbles went everywhere.
The 90s were a long way from all the technology we have today. But it’s also a shame that many people now live in a world where everything is virtual, and the old classics are left to decay.
