For some the bus is the form of public transport that they wearily take to work when their car breaks down while others love settling in comfortably to travel low-cost. However a handful of creative builders have decided to transform theirs buses into really homely and comfy spaces. Here are 14 incredible buses renovated with taste and extravagance that will blow you away!

To give you a bit of history, buses were first invented in the French city of Nantes in 1823. It was called the Omnibus. Etienne Bureau the son of a rich ship-owner imagined a vehicle that could transport employees to the company’s warehouses. His idea was then taken up by the manager of a thermal spa, Stanislas Baudry, who wanted to transport his clients from the centre of Nantes to his spa. The omnibus of the time picked people up outside a hat shop called “Omnes”, the name of the shop owner. On the shop window there was a sign with the words “Omnes, Omnibus” literally meaning Omnes for everyone. This is were the name for bus comes from. There you go, now that you know the story perhaps you can appreciate these incredibly renovated buses even more. There really is something for everyone.
