This area, which is at the border between North Korea and South Korea, is considered the most secure border on Earth, due to tensions between the two countries, but also with the United States.
8/ ADX Florence prison, USA
This high security (Supermax) men’s prison, nicknamed “The Alcatraz of the Rockies”, was designed to house the most dangerous prisoners, requiring tight control.
9/ Sealand, United Kingdom
Situated off the British coast, Sealand is an ultra-secure anti-aircraft platform which can only be accessed by members of the royal family. However, it has been closed for several years.
10/ Area 51, USA
Area 51, an American geographical area (in Nevada) which contains a supposedly secret military base, tests out experimental apparatus, among other things. For such a purpose, security is naturally a top priority….
